The article analyzes the difficulties and strategies that South American transvestites and transvestites experience and carry out to cross geopolitical borders and carry out migration to the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires. This population, when facing different hostilities and vulnerabilities in their environments, migrates in order to establish a stable life project accessing rights. However, consolidating migration implies crossing a set of edges, including overcoming geopolitical borders and due to the stigmatization that this population experiences. The focus of the article is qualitative, the method used is grounded theory and the research technique is the in-depth interview applied in 44 cases through the construction of a theoretical sample.
